Abby DuBord, a first-grade teacher at Elk Ridge, was honored as one of the four finalists for the 2023 North Dakota Teacher of the Year Award. A ceremony was held today at Elk Ridge, with Principal Alivia Wamboldt, Assistant Superintendent Brad Barnhardt, and State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler who all delivered remarks honoring Abby in front of the Elk Ridge student body. Way to go, Ms. DuBord!
