The Board approved Matt Sagsveen to sit on the Boundary Process Committee. The committee will also include district employees, students, citizens from the affected attendance areas, area realtors, Chamber and government staff, and other stakeholders. An update on the boundary process and the status of the two new elementary schools was provided, as well as an update on the Northridge Elementary School project.
Andrea Seibel, MTSS consultant, presented a fall 2019-2020 academic review for reading, math, English, and science.
The Superintendent gave an update on the school reentry plan and shared the 11/8/2020 BPS COVID Dashboard which shows that while Burleigh County COVID numbers continue to rise, BPS student and staff COVID numbers appear to be moving at a slower rate. The Assistant Superintendents shared examples of how the schools are handling COVID-related staff absences.
