The Bismarck School Board today heard presentations from two local churches interested in buying the Saxvik building in northeast Bismarck. Saxvik has not been used as an elementary school for the past three school years and has been on the real estate market during that time. The purchase price proposed by both churches was $399,000.
The School Board voted to accept Inspire Family Fellowship’s offer pending contingencies. Randy Upgren with Inspire Family Fellowship says the church is looking for a permanent location and wants to be part of the Saxvik neighborhood long term.
