Board Member Election

School Board Election – June 9, 2026

Bismarck Public Schools will hold its annual school board election on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The election will be conducted in conjunction with the State Primary Election at the polling places and times established by Burleigh County.

Positions to Be Filled

Three (3) School Board seats will be elected for four-year terms.

Candidate Information

Who Is Eligible?

Any individual who:

Is a qualified elector of North Dakota, and is a resident of the Bismarck Public School District
is eligible to serve as a school board member.

 

Required Forms

Candidates must file:

  1. Statement of Candidacy

  2. Statement of Interests (SFN 10172)
  3. Campaign Disclosure Statement (SFN 53970)

Filing Deadline

All required documents must be received in the Business & Operations Office no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026.
