What is AVID?
Quick Links
AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination.
AVID Elementary
AVID elementary is designed to support students in daily instruction. AVID strategies and systems are integrated into existing curricula to boost engagement and achievement in preparation for future success.
AVID Secondary
AVID can move beyond a class to serve all students in daily instruction. In supporting all instructional philosophy at a school, AVID can bring action to a school’s college and career readiness goals.
AVID Elective Class
The AVID Elective class is a programmatic support for students in the academic middle to bridge the gap between aspirations and achievements. Enrollment in AVID requires an application, interview, and contract.
