ACT Testing Locations and Registration

ACT testing is offered on select Saturdays at certified testing locations across North Dakota. You can view available testing locations here: Testing Locations ND.

Families are encouraged to register early, as testing dates can fill quickly. Register online using the ACT Registration Link.

When registering, students will need:

• A device with internet access

• A form of payment or an ACT voucher (if applicable)

• A photo for identification

• Their high school code:

  • BHS: 350158

  • CHS: 350159

  • LHS: 350161

  • SCHS: 350165

To support students and families, BPS will reimburse the cost of one exam per student, which may be used for either the ACT or the WorkKeys assessment. See "Test Reimbursement Information" for next steps.

ACT English Language Supports

What about accommodations and English Learner Supports?

• ACT does support approved accommodations and English Learner Supports. 
• These must be requested during registrations and sent to your school for additional documentation and submission before the late registration deadline.
• These requests must match current IEP, 504, or EL ILP

Test Fee Reimbursement

BPS helps reduce testing costs by reimbursing the exam fee for one test per student. Families may choose either the ACT or the WorkKeys assessment.  Please note:

• This reimbursement may be used one time per student, beginning with the Class of 2026
• Families must choose one test: ACT or WorkKeys
• The reimbursement does not cover late registration fees or the ACT writing portion
• After testing, please bring or email your receipt and test scores to your school’s building secretary
• A reimbursement check will be mailed after documentation is received

ACT Fee Waiver Program: Some students may qualify for the ACT Fee Waiver Program, which may include:

• Up to four ACT fee waivers
• Free test preparation resources
• Additional benefits at no cost to families

To see if your student qualifies, please contact your school counselor. If eligible, the counselor will provide a voucher to use during ACT registration.
