FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Dear Lincoln Families!
I cannot believe it is already October! We are in full swing at school and so much learning and growing is already taking place! Thank you again for sharing your child(ren) with us!
We are looking forward to Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 18th and Tuesday, October 19th. Parent-teacher conferences offer great opportunities to deepen your working relationship with your child’s teacher. Parent/school partnership is important in the success of all of our students. Links to schedule your conference have been sent to your email.
Another way to be informed on your child’s progress is through Powerschool. If you do not have an online parent access account set up, please contact our office at (701) 323-4310. This resource allows you to check your child’s progress at any time of the year.
PTO FUNDRAISER!
Thank you all for supporting the PTO cookie/cheesecake fundraiser! It was another great success and we are looking forward to enjoying the goodies!
BOOK FAIRLincoln Library is holding its annual Scholastic Book Fair. The Scholastic Book Fair will be held on October 18th and 19th in the library. The hours of operation are after school and during P/T Conferences on Monday and Tuesday night.
Earnings from the book fair goes to buy resources for the library. We appreciate your support of the library.
BLACK and ORANGE DAY!
Friday, October 29th has been set as Black and Orange Day at Lincoln. Students and staff are encouraged to wear black and orange clothing.
The Bismarck School District allows for a classroom party to be held on this day. Teachers will provide information regarding their classroom party. Because of the limited time allotted for the parties and the difficulty of dressing the students up in costumes, we ask parents to not send costumes to school for the children to dress up.
TRUNK OR TREAT!Save the date: Our PTO and community sponsored annual Truck or Treat will be Saturday, October 30th from 1-4 in the school parking lot! We cannot wait to see the costumes and fun!
Thank you again for all you do to support our students and Lincoln Team!
