Elementary Play (4th & 5th Grade)
The Bismarck Public Schools will be offering an Elementary Theatre Production of The Princess King available for students in the 4th and 5th grades. After applications have been collected you will be contacted about your audition time. Auditions will be held at Legacy High School Auditorium on March 17 & 18.
Registration: Please turn this form into your music teacher. You will be contacted by Nicole McGrady, Fine Arts Secretary with an audition time. You will receive a 15-minute slot on March 17th or 18th. Auditions will be held at Legacy High School in the Auditorium.
When: Auditions will be March 17 & 18 between 3:45-5:15 pm. Generally speaking, practice will run from 3:45-5 pm (Runs until 5:30 pm final week) during the week (M-F). The final performances will be May 7th @ 7 pm, May 8th @ 10 am, and May 9th @ 2 pm at the Legacy High School Auditorium.
Where: Auditions, Rehearsals and Performances at Legacy High School Auditorium.
What: Parts will vary. The Princess King offers 35-40 parts.
Who: Students currently in grades 4 and 5 may apply. Mandy Wardner will be the director. She currently teachers at Legacy High School and is involved with Theatre productions.
Cast: Once the cast is selected—The cast list will be posted March 23rd with the main office and with the music teachers at each school. Parent Meeting on March 30th at 4:00 pm or 5:30 pm.
Final Performances: May 7th @ 7 pm, May 8th @ 10 am, and May 9th @ 2 pm - LHS Auditorium
Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, April 8th-3:30 pm @ LHS Auditorium.
