This open house will allow you an additional opportunity to meet and visit with your child’s classroom teachers. I invite you to take the time to stop by and meet your child’s teachers as this is an excellent opportunity to open the lines of communication between families and teachers.
Also, our first day of school for all students is Thursday, August 26. 6th grade students will report to the cafetorium and will then be dismissed at 8:00am so they can head to their homebase and be prepared for the 8:10am start of the school day.
Finally, Wachter has a very rich history and tradition. Together, teachers, students, and parents/guardians make Wachter a strong family. Know that as educators, we appreciate your support as your child learns and grows through the year. We recognize that to have a successful school, our children need support from both the home and school. A strong partnership with you will make a difference in your child’s education. Know that we share the responsibility for your child’s success and want you to know that we will do our best to carry out our responsibilities. Let’s all commit to have an excellent school year!
