7th/8th Grade Immunization Information
North Dakota requires all 7th & 8th graders to have received the meningococcal and Tdap vaccines prior to 7th grade, or if you're new to the district as an 8th grader. Vaccinations can be given any time after the student's 11th birthday.
Students who are not up to date or don’t have an exemption turned in by October 1 will be excluded from school and this will count as an unexcused absence. Contact your child’s health care provider or Burleigh County Health (355-1540) about the immunizations your child will need.
Updated immunizations or exemption forms can be dropped of at our front office, faxed to 701-323-4605, or emailed to our school nurse Kelsie Neibauer . If you've already submitted the required documents, another copy is not needed.

Visiting the School
Visitors must enter the school through the main entrance at 1218 Simle Drive and check in at the school office prior to going to any other areas of the building. All doors entering the school will be locked during school hours.
-
Dropping Off Students at School
Please do not double park in front of the school. This causes congestion and danger for students on foot. Please do not drop off or pick up students in the parking places reserved for staff and school buses. This will help in getting the area cleared as quickly as possible. Attempt to meet your child in a designated spot near the school to avoid congestion. Students arriving at school before 8:00 a.m. may go to the cafeteria for breakfast, to their assigned grade level gathering area, or remain outside weather permitting.
In the morning, students can be dropped off on the West side of the building at the 19th Street entrance before 7:45 a.m. After 7:45 a.m., students can come in on the East or West side entrances. Once the school day starts at 8:08 a.m., all students will have to enter on the Simle Drive entrance. This is the same for any guests entering the building.
-
Picking Up Students After School
All buses will load and unload on the West side of the building at the 19th Street entrance. After school we ask parents to NOT pick up their students on the West side of the school. This is for buses only. Parents can pick up students to the North, East or South of the campus. If you have any questions, please let us know.
