Whether you pursue a business major in college or plan to open your own business, you will be working someday and should take classes that teach real-life practical skills. Accountability, responsibility, leadership, interpersonal skills and teamwork are lifetime skills you will need for career success. High school business courses teach real-life practical skills. They include classes in computers, management, accounting, finance and marketing. Not only will you gain necessary practical skills, but also you will have a foundation to succeed in your career and personal life.
