    B. Davis Scholarship
    A $1,000 scholarship open to juniors and seniors who submit a 1,000 word essay on topic found at www.studentawardsearch.com/scholarship.htmDeadline: May 22

    Bismarck Rotary Club
    The Bismarck Rotary club awards six $2500 scholarships-one to a graduating senior from each local high school. Criteria includes: scholastic record, co-curricular and community involvement and leadership qualities. Application available at the Rotary website.  Deadline: March 15


    Bismarck State College Foundation Scholarships                                                                                                                                                     Awards from $500 to $2,000 per year for qualifying students in academic, energy,  performing arts, visual arts,  journalism and certain technical programs at BSC.  Students with a GPA between 3.0 and 4.0 have a good chance of earning a scholarship!  Find a complete listing and applications at https://bismarckstate.edu/alumnifoundation/foundation/scholarships/.  Priority deadline for the $2,000 scholarships is January 1st, applications will still be accepted after the priority deadline for the $500 to $1,000 scholarships.


    Bismarck Tribune Teen of the Week

    The Bismarck Tribune, along with MDU Resources, will honor one high school senior each week.  At the end of the school year, a $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to one student.  All around students, who excel in the classroom, extra-curriculars, the workplace, and in the community are encouraged to apply.


    Dakota Community Bank & Trust Scholarship

    North Dakota high school seniors who demonstrate community and/or school involvement and plan to continue their education by enrolling full-time (12 credits or more) in the fall are encouraged to apply.  Three Bismarck recipients will be chosen to receive this $800 award.  Available on the bank's website.  Deadline:  March 1


     Elks Legacy Awards
    Four-year $4,000 awards for children or grandchildren of an Elk in good standing. Applicant should exhibit core values of knowledge, charity, community and integrity. Also judged on ACT/SAT scores, transcript, application and essay. Available at www.elks.org/enf/elksscholarsDeadline: January 31


    Farm Credit Services of ND Scholarships in Agriculture
    Ten scholarships worth $1000 each will be awarded to seniors who plan to enroll in college this fall. The recipient must be from an actively farming or ranching family OR planning to pursue an agricultural career.     Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

    For graduating minority seniors planning to attend college who show leadership potential, a dedication to community service and have both financial need and a minimum compositee score of 21 on the ACT. Go to www.jackierobinson.org.  Deadline: February 1


    North Dakota Corn Growers Association Scholarship
    Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to children of current ND Corn Growers Association members. Criteria used includes activity participation and transcript information. For more info, go to www.ndcorn.org. Deadline: January 3


    North Dakota Crop Improvement & Seed Organization
    Three $1,000 scholarships to the NDSU College of Agriculture are available to incoming freshmen. Applicants and/or guardian must be member of their respective county Crop (Ag) Improvement Association. Website: www.ndcropimprovement.comDeadline: February 15


    North Dakota Jaycee Senate Lisa Burdolski Memorial Scholarship
    The ND Jaycee Senate awards four scholarships worth $300 each. The scholarships are dedicated to the memory of Lisa Burdolski, a child of a Jaycee who died as a result of a car accident. Two primary award winners and two alternate winner will be selected. Primary winners are then eligible to compete nationally for $1000 scholarships from the US JCI Senate Foundation.     North Dakota Mensa Scholarship Essay Contest

    Scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 for students attending post-secondary school.  Complete an online essay of 550 words or less describing academic or career goals. Go to:  http://www.mensafoundation.org/what-we-do/scholarships/.  Deadline:  January 15


    ND Rural Water Systems Association Patrick Denne Memorial Scholarship
    Up to $8,500 will be awarded to children or grandchildren of current city/rural water system employees or elected city/rural water system officials OR to students enrolled or planning to enroll in BSC's Water and Wastewater Technology program. Go to www.ndrw.org.  Deadline: March 31


    OppU Achievers Scholarship

    Submit a short response to the question "What makes you an achiever?".  Scholarships worth $2,500 are given four times per year.  Must have a GPA of at least 3.0.  Apply onlineDeadlines: September 30, December 31, March 31, June 30


    PB&J Scholarship

    The PB&J scholarship ($1,000) is awarded to students who have experienced challenges in their life that may not have allowed them to reflect well academically, but who have the drive to succeed.  Apply online.  Deadline May 31
