SADD stands for Students Against Destructive Decisions. Its mission is to empower students to successfully confront the risks and pressures that challenge them throughout their daily lives. The Century High School SADD chapter sponsors campaigns throughout the school year that empower, bring awareness to risks & consequences, promote healthy fun and support the mission of the national SADD organization.
SADD is for all Centry High School students and no specific skills or experience is needed. We welcome any student who recognizes the importance of making positive choices for thier own health and safety as well as others'.
Meetings are held every 1-2 times per month throughout the school year and usually last an hour. Attendance is not mandatory but is encouraged.
Procedures for Joining:
Students interested in SADD should contact the advisor or show up to a meeting. All students should sign in for the meeting and be an active participant.
Activity Time Period:
SADD starts early in the school year (mid-September) and runs through the end of the school year.
There is no limitation on the number of students able to participate in this club.
Location of Meetings:
SADD meetings will take place the first and third Wednesday of the month in Room 115. Students are encouraged to check the online school calendar for up to date information.
