Key Club International is the high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world. Bismarck High and other high schools have student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.
BHS Key Club meets at least 2 times a month to organize and plan service projects. It is a great way to earn service hours, and it is also a great way to develop leadership skills for scholarships. Contact Robin Nein to learn more about the advantages and opportunities Key Club can offer.
Past projects include toys for Africa, Jam the Gym, Peanut Butter Drive, Help for Hannah Miller, and Run for the Heart. Anything is possible it only takes a generous creative attitude!
Key Club meets the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday at 7:30-8:10am
