Thursday Josten’s will be at BHS to discuss graduation cap/gown, etc. They will be here 3rd period. You are to go to your 3rd period class and check in. After attendance is taken you will be directed to go to the auditorium. Once the presentation is over, students need to go back to their 3rd period class. If you do not make it there, you will be coded as unexcused.
- If you are at the Career Academy during this period. Please stop by Student Services or the Admin office and we will give you the packet. Do NOT miss the bus for this presentation.
FCCLA Meeting on Wednesday (9/20) at 7:45am in room B4. Still time to come join especially if you love FACS classes!”
Student Parking Passes – Please make sure that your pass is hung on your rearview mirror right side facing out. If you have the National Guard detail facing out, you need to turn it around. We need to be able to see the parking permit #. If it’s not the right side facing out, you will get a ticket. Thank you.
Juniors & Seniors: Listen up Juniors & Seniors because this is extremely important!!! Every Junior and Senior must have a 2nd dose of MCV4 vaccine. You need to have this done or scheduled to have it done by October 1st!!!! So, if you aren’t sure if you’ve had the 2nd dose, ask your parent or see Michelle Schmidt in Student Services.
Garbage – We are seeing an increase in garbage in the parking lots and around the neighborhood. Please be good neighbors and keep your BHS grounds clean. If you have garbage, either keep it in your car or throw it in a garbage can outside or inside the building.

Little Free Library
BHS has a Little Free Library in front of our building on 7th Street! The main purpose is to encourage BHS students to read, but because a LFL is a “take a book, leave a book” philosophy, you might find literature from all genres and levels. Feel free to grab a good read for yourself and exchange it with one you think students might find interesting.
And the beautiful box was decorated by our very own, Paul Noot (BHS Art teacher).
