AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK 2008
NOVEMBER 12-14, 2008
Sponsored by Wachter Student Council
Wednesday 11/12 we'll kick off American Education Week
-tune in to Wildcat TV for more details!
-due to our snow day, this info didn't get announced, so please share in your HBase/Classes
-we will be having a quick student council meeting during period 6 today (2:10-2:25) to finalize our change of plans with the student council members.
Thursday 11/13 is ALL Staff Appreciation Day... Wachter Staff are SWEET!
-student council meeting at 7:30 am in commons area
-Jeans day for all staff for free!
-Staff wear your college alumni gear or Wachter colors
-Students will wear their favorite college gear or Wachter colors
-Special SWEET treats will be given to all staff today
-Drawings for prizes will be held on Wildcat TV at the end of the day for our SWEET WMS Staff!
Friday 11/14 is Student Appreciation Day... Wachter Students are BRIGHT!!!
-student council meeting at 7:30 am in commons area
-Hat day for all students for free!
-Students and staff dress in their BRIGHTest colors or tie dyed clothes...head to toe!
-BRIGHT treats will be randomly stuffed in lockers throughout the building
-Some of the lockers will receive a ticket.
-If they receive a ticket in their locker, they can put their name on it and drop it in the drawing bucket in the office during their lunch break prior to 12:45 pm
-Drawings for prizes will be held on Wildcat TV between the volleyball games for those BRIGHT, lucky students!
Staff vs. 9th Grade Girls Volleyball Team Volleyball Match
-our WMS Staff will take on our WMS 9th Grade Girls Volleyball Team today
-the match will take place during period 7
-all 9th grade students will attend the match in the gym
-all 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to watch on Wildcat TV during their period 7 class

Student Council Elections
The Wachter Student Council consists of representatives from each team. Student Council elections took place on Thursday, October 9, 2008. Congratulations to those elected to the WMS Student Council for the 08-09 school year.

Wachter Merchandise Orders
We are currently taking orders for Wachter merchandise. Please stop in room 104A if you would like to try on sizes. Orders are due by this Friday November 7th to the WMS office. Order forms were mailed out with the October newsletter. Order forms are also available in the office and on the link below. Orders will be delivered in time for Christmas.
NOTE: Deadline Extended due to snow day..... NEW DEADLINE is THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13 @ 3:30 PM
