Advocacy

"Advocacy" refers to asserting your own legal rights, or assisting others to ensure their legal rights are protected. The ND Protection and Advocacy Project provides a variety of advocacy services to eligible individuals with disabilities that can help students and their families through the special education system. Types of services may include advocacy representation, information and referral, education and training, and protective services.
