BPS could increase by 1,900 students in 5 years

Bismarck Public Schools is expected to grow by 1,900 students (13%) in the next five years. That's the prediction of the planner Rob Schwarz of RSP Associates, who presented updated enrollment numbers to the School Board using a sophisticated forecast model.

Principals will outline plans for increasing middle and high school space due to increased student enrollment in Bismarck Public Schools at meetings Jan. 17, 19 and 24 from 7-8 pm at Wachter, Horizon, & Simle, in that order.
