HMS Grade 9 Band
HMS Grade 9 Band

Approximately 300 students are involved in six concert bands and a jazz band at Horizon Middle School. The bands perform in concert throughout the year and also attend the Folk Fest and Band Night parades along with the University of Mary Jazz Festival and the Big Muddy Music Festival.

Our students are active in auditioning for festival groups throughout the year. This past year, 4 students were selected to perform with the NDMEA High School All State band, and 12 students were selected to perform with the NDNBA Jr. High All State Band. We are proud of these students!
