BHS honors students for academics

On Wednesday, April 16th, 198 Bismarck High School students were inducted as members of the National Honor Society (NHS). A special ceremony was held in the Karlgaard Gymnasium at 1:30 pm. The guest speaker was Attorney General, Wayne Stenehjem, member of the BHS graduating class of 1971.

Bismarck Public School students did well at the Annual Skills USA contest held at NDSCS in Wahpeton. The contest categories and awards winners are listed in alphabetical order, and Career Academy electronics instructor Joel Gilbertson was named 2014 Skills USA Advisor of the Year.
