Objective 8: Standards-based Curriuculum is Communicated, Aligned, and Flexible to Adapt for Challenge and Relevancy

Initiative 8.1: Identify power standards in the core curriculum.

The overall goal is to ensure curriculum alignment from K-12 that is both relevant and rigorous. We will be clear about the power standards/priority benchmarks for each grade-level. We will communicate the essential knowledge/skills and resources in a shareable format. We will have common assessments that reflect each essential knowledge and skill by grade-level/subject area. The dynamic tool for housing the curriculum deliverables will allow for parent, student, and teacher access.
