Lag measures

District Progress is measured yearly using standardized assessment scores on North Dakota State Assessment (NDSA) for grades 3-8 and 11 and also ACT scores for each graduating class.

Lead measures

Lead measures used throughout each school year to monitor progress include Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) for grades 2-10 and PLAN for grade 10. MAP testing occurs three times each year with spring to spring growth used to determine progress as a district. PLAN testing occurs each fall in grade 10. Scores for students taking both PLAN and ACT are also used as indicators of growth.

Measures of Academic Progress mean scores (Spring 2009 mean RIT scores by grade and subgroup)
