Members of the education profession each have their own set of highly complex set of practices. To promote excellence in education, the Bismarck Public School District gathered a committee of 15 individuals to design the Bismarck Public Schools Professional Excellence Frameworks, which was designed, using Frameworks for Teaching and Teacher Evaluation by Charlotte Danielson.
The goal of the committee was to bring teachers, media specialists, counselors and specialists into the process as partners with administrators in ways that support their professional growth, and enhance student learning through effective instructional practices
