BCC Foundation Donna Johnson Memorial Scholarship
The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation (BCCF) will award two $1000 scholarships to individuals who are interested in and committed to oncology nursing and who are pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing through a Bismarck college. Find at www.bismarckcancercenterfoundation.com. Deadline: April 28
Bismarck Dollars for Scholars
Scholarships of $500 will be given to successful applicants from the Bismarck area who plan to go on to postsecondary education. Bismarck Kiwanis Club Scholarship
Individual one-time scholarships of $1,000 are given to three local seniors who plan to enroll in an institution of higher learning in North Dakota. Criteria used includes: scholastic record and ACT/SAT scores; future plans, school activity record and personal qualities that indicate potential success in college; good citizenship and service involvement; and financial need. Bismarck Rotary Club
The Bismarck Rotary club awards six one-thousand dollar scholarships-one to a graduating senior from each local high school. Criteria includes: scholastic record, co-curricular and community involvement and leadership qualities. Application available at the Rotary website: www.bismarckrotary.com . Deadline: March 15
Bismarck State College Foundation Scholarship
Awards from $1,000 to $2,000 per year for qualifying students in academic, performing arts, visual arts, journalism and certain technical and energy programs at BSC. Students with a GPA between 3.0 and 4.0 have a great chance of earning a scholarship! Complete application at www.bismarckstate.edu/scholarships. Priority deadline for the $2,000 scholarships is January 1st, applications will still be accepted after the priority deadline for the $1,000 scholarships.
Century High School Staff Scholarship
A graduating senior who attended CHS for at least three semesters will receive a one-time award of $500. Criteria: financial need, academic standing, and school & community activities. Deadline: March 15
Chevy Scholarship Program
West Dakota Chevy Dealers invite nominations for outstanding juniors and seniors to compete for a $5,000 scholarship - five other finalist will receive $500 awards. Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by family, friends, parents or teachers. Elks Legacy Awards
Four-year $4,000 awards for children or grandchildren of an Elk in good standing. Applicant should exhibit core values of knowledge, charity, community and integrity. Farm Credit Services of ND Scholarships in Agriculture

First Community Credit Union Scholarship

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund

Gene L. Kouba Memorial Scholarship

North Dakota Association of Counties/Institute of Local Government Scholarship Fund
Six $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to students attending a ND university, college, or vocational/technical certification program. Eligible candidates must be child or grandchild of a county employee or county official. Stop in counseling office for application. Deadline: June 2
North Dakota Farmers Union Scholarship
College-bound seniors with at least a 2.5 GPA and whose families are members of Farmers Union may apply for this scholarship. The field of study is not limited to agri-business, farm operation or production agriculture but should relate to/benefit rural America. ND Rural Water Systems Association Patrick Denne Memorial Scholarship

Northridge Elementary August Ritter Memorial PTO Scholarship

Robert Miller Elementary School PTO Scholarship
A one-time $500 scholarship to a former Miller Elementary student graduating in 2017. Must have attended Miller for at least one year and a have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Essay required. Deadline: March 1
Reuben T. Guenthner Scholarship
Two $350 scholarships awarded to ND seniors who completed at least one career and technical education course in high school and plan to enroll in a career and technical education program of two years or less at a North Dakota school. State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship
Up to 50 recipients will receive a $2,500 reward. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 to 3.2, demonstrate financial need, be a US citizen, and plan to enroll as a full-time student at a two- or four-year college, or voc/technical school. Benjamin Berg Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship fund was stablished to honor the memory of Benjamin Berg, a 2016 CHS graduate. Preference will be given to seniors who participated in baseball at CHS and have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Bismarck Schools Scholarship
One senior from each public high school - Bismarck High and Century High- will be selected. Selection will be based on academic achievement, need and school performance indicating probable success in higher education.
Dixon Wightman Scholarship
This $1,000 award was established to honor longtime teacher and coach Dixon Wightman. The award will be made to a track and field athlete who exhibits solid moral character and strong academic performance. Preference will be given to a CHS shot put, discus, or javelin thrower. Stop in the counseling office for an application.
Jeff Burgess Memorial Scholarship
The Lignite Energy Council established this scholarship to assist a graduating senior from Bismarck planning to pursue a science-related career. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate self-motivation, respect for others, honesty, and dependability.
Jim and Barbara Blaine Scholarship
Applicants must have attended CHS for 2 years. Preference will be given to students who are descendants of present and former Century High School Staff. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Other criteria to be considered include a balance of academic achievement and co-curricular activities.
Kathy Eggmann Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will assist a graduating senior from Century High School who is active in Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). The award will be paid in the fall and is based on need and ability.
North Dakota Military Scholarship
The ND Community Foundation awards scholarships to dependents of members of a ND military unit/installation.
Pauline Paul Memorial Scholarship
CHS seniors with a GPA of at least 2.5 are eligible. The selection committee will also consider the student's volunteer community service activities, financial need and experience in dealing with cancer in the applicant's family, i.e. parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Tom Sturdevant Scholarship
This award is for a graduating senior athlete from CHS who plays above his potential and with "heart", is involved with year round training, and participates in either football or track.
Tyler Herman Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Jeff and Kelli Herman in loving memory of their son Tyler Herman. The primary purpose is to financially assist students from Bismarck/Mandan who have lost either a parent or sibling. Preference will be given to students who attend Century or Bismarck High Schools.
Chris Traeholt Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will assist a student from Century High School who is planning to enroll in the engineering department at North Dakota State University.
