AXA Achievement Scholarship
For seniors who are active in the community, have led a project that benefits others, and overcome personal challenges. Awards of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 - a winner in every state. Go to to learn more and apply online - only the first 10,000 applications will be accepted. Deadline: December 15

Bank of ND Real DEAL Scholarship
Every month, October through March, eight seniors from across ND will be awarded a $500 Real DEAL scholarship. In April, these 48 students will have the opportunity to compete for one - $3,000 scholarship. Applicants must plan to attend a ND college, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and 3 or more extracurricular activities to be eligible. Bismarck State College Foundation Scholarship
Awards from $500 to $2,000 per year for qualifying students in academic, performing arts, visual arts, journalism and certain technical and energy programs at BSC. Students with a GPA between 3.0 and 4.0 have a great chance of earning a scholarship! Find a complete listing and applications at Priority Deadline: January 25

Burger King Scholars Program
Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000, and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average, work experience, extracurricular activities and/or community service. Apply at Deadline: December 15

Elks Legacy Awards
Four-year $4,000 awards for children or grandchildren of an Elk in good standing. Applicant should exhibit core values of knowledge, charity, community and integrity. Also judged on ACT/SAT scores, transcript, application and essay. Available online only at Deadline: February 3

Farm Credit Services of ND Scholarships in Agriculture
Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to seniors who plan to enroll in college this fall. The recipient may be from an actively farming/ranching family OR planning to pursue an agricultural career. Apply at or Deadline: March 1

Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund
The Freedom Alliance honors our military heroes by granting scholarships for dependent sons or daughters of US soldiers who were permanently disabled or killed while serving their country. Apply at

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Young Entrepreneur Awards
Scholarships ranging in value from $2,000-$15,000 to recognize young people who own and/or operate their own small business. Criteria also includes academic record, extracurricular activities, leadership and character. Available online at Deadline: December 18

North Dakota Jaycee Senate Lisa Burdolski Memorial Scholarship
The ND Jaycee Senate awards four scholarships worth $300 each. Two primary award winners and two alternate winner will be selected. Primary winners are then eligible to compete nationally for $1000 scholarships from the US JCI Senate Foundation. Applications can be found online at Deadline: January 15

North Dakota School Counselor Association Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one ND student. Complete essay describing your career plan and who/what helped you with your decision. Find application at: Deadline: December 19

Ronald McDonald House Charities U.S. Scholarship Program
The RMHC scholarship programs will award approximately $3 million to graduating high school seniors who dream of going to college, but may not have the finances necessary to realize the dream. Visit for more information or apply today at Deadline: January 18

Society of Automotive Engineers Scholarship Program
An extensive variety of undesignated and university sponsored programs for those pursuing study in the science or engineering fields. Find online at Deadline: January 15

Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with Disabilities
Renewable scholarships of up to $2,500 for seniors with an identified disability and planning to enroll full- or half-time at an accredited two- or four-year college. Minimum GPA of 3.0. To learn more and apply, visit: Deadline: January 17
