Fundraise While you Shop!

Fundraise While you Shop!

Centennial Elementary has a program that will benefit both our families and our school! It is called Scrips, and it is basically fundraising while you shop. We have a form that you fill out telling us what gift cards you would like to purchase and then provide a check to us. We in turn buy them from the Great Lakes Scrip Center who owns them and sells them to us giving us a portion of the profit that they received when they bought them from the retailers in bulk. That profit is then spent on technology for our school!

All you have to do is purchase gift cards from us for retailers. These could be gift cards that you are going to use for gifts or maybe even just gas and grocery cards that you use every week. We ask that you please turn in your orders into the office. We don't want kids to have to be responsible for carrying around "money". Since this is going to be an ongoing fundraiser throughout the year additional forms may be printed from the website or picked up in the school commons area. Please make checks payable to Centennial PTO. Watch your child's backpack for upcoming order dates!

The funds raised this year will help purchase voice amplification systems for classrooms.

General Mills Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education has helped America's schools earn over $200 million since 1996. Our school can earn up to $60,000 every year through Box Tops- that's as much as $20,000 from each of these three easy ways to earn:

  1. Clip Box Tops from your favorite product!
Look for the 10¢ Box Tops coupon on hundreds of your favorite products. You can find Box Tops on brands such as Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and more!
  2. Shop at your favorite online stores!
At the Box Tops Marketplace, you can shop at over 60 online stores including JCPenney and Lands' End. A portion of every qualifying purchase is donated to your school - all at no additional cost to you!
  3. Buy books through the Book Club!
Several times a year, students will receive order forms from your school's coordinator to purchase books through the Box Tops Book Club. Your school will earn one Box Top for every dollar spent.

How It Works:
  • Save your Central Market register receipts with a "WE CARE" sticker affixed.
  • Turn in your receipts to the office.
  • The school turns in these receipts to Central Market.
  • In turn, our school will receive a check for 1% of the total receipts from Central Market!
