Starting with the 2010-11 school year, student athletes participating in NDHSAA sanctioned
sports programs will be required to file a pre-participation health history screening and physical
examination clearance form (page 4) with their school office prior to their participation on a yearly
basis. As per NDHSAA Constitution and By-Laws, physical evaluations may be done by the
following medical professionals: Medical Doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy, Physicians Assistant,
Nurse Practitioner (MD, DO, PA, NP); the Athletic Pre-Participation Health History Screening and
Physical Examination is valid for one school year; a physical examination must be completed on or
after * April 15 to be valid for participation the following school year.

Going into the season, Devils Lake head boys hockey coach Jens Stokke believe that his team featured one of the best defensive cores in the state.
The team's results have proved that the third-year head coach was right on the money.
After six games, the Firebirds hold an impressive 5-1 record. In those games, the Devils Lake defense has given up just eight goals.
Demon boys outskate Minot
FULL BISMARCK TRIBUNE ARTILCE Going through the motions wasn't on the minds of the Bismarck Demons hockey team on Tuesday night. The opponent was long-time hockey archrival Minot, and BHS meant business.
The Demons scored four first-period goals and left no room for argument in a 6-1 West Region hockey victory over Minot at the VFW Sports Center.

The junior defenseman tallied his first goal of the season at John. L. Wilson Arena in Jamestown on Thursday, helping the Demons defeat the Blue Jays 3-0 in a battle of early-season unbeatens.
Bismarck has now scored 49 goals, while allowing just five, in five victories to start the year.

FULL FARGO FORUM ARTICLE FARGO-Eric Pladson recorded a hat trick as Bismarck defeated Fargo North 8-1 in boys hockey on Saturday, Nov. 26.
Grayden Stone added three assists in the win.
Brandt Kolpack scored the lone goal for the Spartans and Ryley Pladson totaled 43 saves in the loss.
