Welcome to Girl's Fastpitch Softball
This 2009 season brings fastpitch softball to North Dakota high school athletics. Competition will be fierce between the 14 schools that have sanctioned teams, to include the communities of Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, Devils Lake, Dickinson, Enderlin/Maple Valley, Grafton, Valley City, Casselton, and West Fargo. These teams have been broken down into three distinct regions:
Region 1: Central Cass, Enderlin, Fargo North, Fargo Shanley, Fargo South, Valley City, and West Fargo
Region 2: Devils Lake, Grafton, Grand Forks Red River, Grand Forks Central
Region 3: Bismarck/Mandan, Bishop Ryan, Minot, Dickinson
Eight teams will qualify for the State Tournament, with 4 coming from Region 1 and two each from Region 2 & 3.
