Welcome to BECEP

I have worked with children and families for over thirty years and look forward to getting to know you and your family. I have experience in child development, family counseling and special education. I am a Licensed Social Worker and have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education.

I am available to families to act as a resource, listen to what is on your mind, explore solutions, and be a support to you as your child enters the world of preschool.

Feel free to stop in or call and I would be happy to meet with you. My direct phone number is 701-323-4433. My e-mail is

Parent Place at BECEP

Parent Place is BECEP's Parent Center. Parent Place is located within BECEP/Richholt at 720 N. 14th Street. This is where most parent/family activities are held, such as Policy Council Meetings, Parent Club, and other classes/activities. We strive to create Parent Place as an inviting and friendly atmosphere where parents and families feel comfortable and can come together in partnership with staff and other parents and families. Parent Place provides resources, such as parenting information, support, and family services.

Family advocates are available to work with any family within BECEP. They can meet with families at BECEP or in the family's home. Services available to any BECEP family include referrals to community agencies, or providing families with information about available community resources, such as emergency assistance, crisis intervention, etc. Family Advocates can also help families in emergency situations with clothing, food and toiletries, etc.

In addition to family advocates, a mental health provider is available to parents. Contact your child's teacher or home visitor if you would like to visit with a mental health provider.
